All my quilting is hand guided/free-motion on a 17" Voyager quilting machine named Victor. I do not use a computer guided system. The quilt frame I use is a Hinterberg Stretch Frame and can accommodate a quilt up to 108" wide, length can be longer. My specialty is free-motion and organic quilting!
I know how much work goes into creating a quilt top and my number one goal is to compliment your quilt with beautiful quilting. If you have any questions please email me at labellacolori at gmail.com .

Quilt Preparation:
- If you pre-wash the fabrics in your quilt top it is highly recommended that you pre-wash your backing fabric also.
- Square up your quilt top and your backing.
- Check to make sure all your seams are secure. Stay stitch 1/8" from the edge of your entire quilt to ensure the seams do not pull apart from handling
- The backing and batting must be 6" - 8" larger than the quilt top..
- Remove all excess threads as well as pins, buttons and other embellishments.
- The quilt top must lay flat. Be aware that fullness and puckers within the quilt top cannot be quilted out. The flatter your quilt top is, the better the finished quilt will be.
- Quilt must be clean and free of odors and pet hair.
- Press your quilt top and backing thoroughly. All seams should be pressed flat.
- Please fold each individually not utilizing pins.
Turn around time is usually 3 weeks. I will be honest and open about the projected completion time and will inform you at each step of the quilting process. Please contact me to discuss a faster production time.
My quilting studio is smoke-free and dog friendly (two short haired Dachshunds). I vacuum and dust the area I quilt in before loading a new quilt on the frame and while I quilt. My dogs stay away from any quilting projects and their short little legs cannot reach the quilting frame.
I am located in scenic Crestview, Florida. I prefer to use USPS priority mail utilizing flat rate shipping boxes. If additional insurance is required, please let me know. If you want other shipping methods, please contact me. Shipping rates are the current USPS rates.
Thank you,
Kira Bell
