Welcome!

The name LaBellaColori comes from Italy, where I spent a few years enjoying 'the' life (I have always had a love affair with Italy). La Bella Colori means 'All the Beautiful Colors' or 'The Beautiful Colors' - which describes me all to well, as I love COLOR!!

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, quilter, fabric dyeing maniac and dreamer. Married to my dearest friend of 22 years and have an amazing son in college; three fur babies that make us smile.

I love to sew, design and create with fabrics. I am a  notorious bad speller and have no grasp of English grammar, silly stupid joke teller and always two minutes behind everyone else getting the punch line. I'm a shy, recovering perfectionist and somewhat of an introvert working on low self esteem issues just like the rest of us!!  Dealing with what ever life throws at me with a glass of red wine and a smile :)

This blog is about the things that bring me happiness. The posts may or may not be something everyone likes to read, and that's fine. I try not to post politics, religion, or negativity - because I figure if I have nothing good to say then I will try not to say it. I talk about sewing, fashion, crafts, quilting, cooking and life in general - which by no means is because I am an authority on these subjects, heck no!

I post because I am a shy person and this is a way of sharing what I like with the world but still staying within my comfort zone. I hope that what I have to share is fun, entertaining and maybe helpful in some way. I have met some fantastic 'blogger' friends that I would have never met without this blog and hope to continue to grow my new found friendships.
