Christmas in July: Day Two

More embroidery fun!!!!

Sue Zellers, Missy Billingsley & Chris DeRoss were our teachers for the day. We learned about fast smocking and faux smocking. In the hoop projects - even ones that included inserting a zipper, yes in the hoop!!!

We even got to hear from Rose, the district rep. for Babylock. She did a show and tell with beautiful quilts.
We had a fashion show, and even I got to join in as one of the models. (silly me)
Again - I am wore out. Gotta get some rest, for one last day of sewing fun!!!!

Fun fun fun.....................

The speakers for the day was Chris DeRoss from Anita Goodesign and Missy Billingsley from Babylock.

Chris did a great step by step for the Fleur de Li from the Glamor Rocks set.

Lovely trunk show too.

Missy did a demo on making a zippered bag. (sorry I was taking notes so I didn't get any pics)

Lunch was delicious and we had some great conversations. I will try and take more pictures tomorrow. I am beat, so its dinner and off to bed.
